Lutheran worship is centered in Word and Sacrament. Our liturgy, the work of the people, is printed in the weekly bulletin. Communion is offered to all who are baptized. The church bells communicate the start of the service.

Members of the congregation participate in the worship service as Assisting Ministers and Greeters-Ushers.

  • We reflect on God’s grace during the prelude.
  • We hear God’s word in the readings.
  • We ask forgiveness in our prayers.
  • We receive forgiveness through the weekly eucharist of bread and wine.
  • We proclaim our faith through the creed.
  • We offer praise through our hymns found in the cranberry hymnals in the pews.
  • We give thanks for God’s grace and forgiveness during the postlude.

Members who are Worship Assistants participate in the service. Descriptions can be found on the Worship Assistants page. Use this link to sign up to help.

The church year is divided into five seasons. Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and the largest season, Pentecost. The color of paraments on the communion table are determined by the church season.
